Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Porsche sell silicon grease in a small container. Very easy to apply, as it has a small nossle for running along the roof runners.
I couldn't find the silicon spray in my local Halfords (which is quite a big store).
I would be interested to understand where exactly people apply the grease, as there's about 2 runners on each side and mine squeaks front, back, left- and right-hand sides.
I always apply it to surfaces where the moveable glass roof is rubbing along the sides of the fixed areas, ie all around the open square (if you see what I mean).
I also apply it to the rear air spoiler hinges as mine used to make an awful rubbing noise when it was operated. I think it's not a bad idea to apply it to the door hinges as well and any other moving part like the bonnet and engine lid for instance just to keep it lubricated.
I don't know if the spray is the much different from the grease.

Ah-ha, that's handy to know. I'll try the Robert Dyas in town.
I will take some pictures of my roof and point out the bits that I think need spraying to get everyone's opinion.
Thanks Maxie for letting me know which parts you spray.
Cheers!
As promised, please see a picture of my roof.
Tried spraying just about everywhere.
1) where the glass roof meets the windscreen
2) spraying up where the glass roof meets the plastic seal
3) the guide runner across the bottom
4) the guide runner across the top
Not shown in the picture, but I've also sprayed where the glass roof meets the rear hatch.
Any other areas I should be spraying?
:drink: <- that's not silicon grease btw!
(sorry I can't scale my images...really annoying)...anyone know how to?
all I have on this PC is Visio, Powerpoint and MS-Paint.
silicon grease
Silicon grease is also used on motorcycle drive chains - so any superbike shop will sell it. Silicon grease is water resistant so is great for door/boot/spoiler hinges as well,
