Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

:wink: Porsche will warranty a Manthey GT3, and my car flew through their 111pt check a couple of months ago.
Leading evidence: 'Check couple of months ago' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check couple of months ago' (1 discussions). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

that is the question...
Has anyone fitted or had experience of a Tubi Rumore exhaust on a NA 996?
PSE, EVOMS, Fabspeed, RSR & Miltek have all been through the elimination process (forum feedback, cost & sound) and just getting any last minute thoughts before making the call...
orsche:
Thanks
Speak to Manu at Scuderia Systems... they may well give you a month no-obligation trial to make your mind up.
Look out for off-cam boom though, if its anything like the Tubi on my F355
Scuderia in Egham are potentially doing the work. Heard a Tubi on a TT and via youtube on a C2 but it's hard to judge. I don't really want to pay as much as the PSE so the EVOMS or Miltek were close but heard the Tubi to be the better option.
How does the Manthey sound compared to the Tubi?, it's the top top of my budget...
Haha, you should know my mods by now Ade, since when has it been about adding resale value
I'm taking most of previous cars mods off and taking it with me...
Would fitting an aftermarket stop me getting passing the 111 point check and getting the OP warranty though?
:wink: Porsche will warranty a Manthey GT3, and my car flew through their 111pt check a couple of months ago. Porsche aren't really that bothered about a car's originality: the £895 goes into the OPC pockets, and if you have to claim, the warranty company
pays
Porsche to fix it. It's a lucrative arrangement for Porsche...
But on a regular 996, you're only going for a sound change and you mentioned 'cost', hence my rec for PSE :thumb:
I only mentioned sound as performance is really negligable without going down the headers and cat route.
Cost wise:
PSE = £1500 + 300 fitting = £1800
PSE from OPC = £2000 inc fitting quoted
Manthey = £1570 fitted
Tubi = £1391.25 + £90 fitting = £1488.25
EVOMS = £1170.30 + fitting (aprox £100) = £1270.30
So it's really down to the Tubi and EVOMS and I think the Tubi sounds nicer, but could be wrong... :help:
