I knew my dealer was going to get one in November.......it was going to be a 'no-sell' car, but it was supposed to be a fully test-driveable example though.

This is exactly what I heard from my dealer. We'll be able to come down and have them pull the tarp back for a look - maybe even sit in the car - but no sale. It <u>does</u> feel very 50's, and I'm old enough to remember.

Yep, they are supposed to have an 'unveiling' around Nov 21 and then they can use it as a demo but as stated, no sale.

My dealer told me it would be on the showroom floor but could not be driven. Either way, it will be better than just lookiing at pictures on the Internet.

Sure do hope that my dealer will get one in Nov. He told me last that there will be NO car available until first shipment arrives for delivery in Jan.

It was formally announced to us in Ibiza, that each dealer will receive a Cayman S in November. The rules will be established by PCNA, as far as demos go. My understanding though is that it will only be available for viewings in our showrooms...not necessarily for demo drives. The on sale date will be Jan. 14, therefore the November car will be available for viewings for over 30 days in our showrooms. You will love the lines on this beauty!!!
