Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello Group, I am looking for a good 996 mechanic in the San Fernando Valley. I have used R2 Racing in Santa Clarita and they do terrific work, but they are just too far . I have used the services of Monaco motors and they do excellent work, but a little pricy for my wallet. I'd like someone a little closer to Encino or Van Nuys I've used Hauer's German Car Service and Jules is a terrific mechanic but he prefers to work on 928s and he is always busy Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

We like to recommend TRE is Van Nuys and TLG in North Hollywood - no affiliation, but both excellent shops. -Dmitry
