Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My guess is that with all of the glowing press about the Cayman S, the Porsche dealers will have no trouble getting nearly MSRP for these 'used' Caymans.
Leading evidence: 'Use ' caymans' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check into making an mpeg file and see if' (1 discussions). Noticed the comments about 'who'd want these used cars'.

I'll check into making an MPEG file and see if that is any smaller than the wmv file.

In a real mass produced vehicle (100,000+ units a year), pre-production can run into the hundreds - I wonder if the Caymans used in Ibiza were pre-production?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just put up a video from a test drive in Ibiza Spain. It is 10MB in size, just over 1 minute in length. You MUST right click and choose 'save target as' on the download link to save the file.
If someone could MIRROR this file I would appreciate it as I don't have the bandwidth for a lot of simultaneous video downloads. Please post mirror locations in this thread!

Pretty cool, at least we're inside and driving now. Engine soundsdeeper than I expected!
I can't tell if the driver is 'wowing' at the scenery or the car... both, I suspect.
Pretty annoying noise when he holds the camera out the window.... LOL
Thanks to all for the great site! Although I've decided it's making the wait worse, I can't pry myself away. And if I do, I'm afraid it will only be tostake-outthe dealer, waitingfor their demo. Do they make pills for me?
Noticed the comments about 'who'd want these used cars'. They'll be sold as 'pre-owned executive demonstrators' ; -)
I counted 78 cars in the lineup at the assembly point. In a real mass produced vehicle (100,000+ units a year), pre-production can run into the hundreds - I wonder if the Caymans used in Ibiza were pre-production?
Manufacturers tend to scrap pre-production cars, BYW. Seems a shame.
Apple QuickTime 6.0 or better. I also made a windows video 9 (wmv) file but it came in at 20mb and seemed to lose some clarity so I put up the smaller 10mb .mov file instead. Hope that helps!
I'll check into making an MPEG file and see if that is any smaller than the wmv file.
Ok I put up a new version of the same video in Windows Media format (wmv) and by tweaking the settings I got the video crisper and the size down to 5mb vs. the QT version.
Enjoy!

my dealer told me that he is there right now and that these cars would be delivered to the US dealers in November as demos ....... not for sale until January ?????
so the pre-owned executive demostrators makes sence.

That means they're not pre-production.
Hmmm, wonder what kind of a deal can be had and how weill refurbished they'll be? 'Empty the ashtray and stick a new
pine tree
on the rearview, Gerhard' ; -)

Hey I'd take one of those fully optioned SC/PASM/PCCB/Interior Design, etc. somewhat abused Caymans for say $20K off MSRP sounds about right... /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/taunt.gif
Wishful thinking. My guess is that with all of the glowing press about the Cayman S, the Porsche dealers will have no trouble getting nearly MSRP for these 'used' Caymans.
The cars were Euro cars, and will not enter North America at any point in time. Each and every one of them though had been 'broken in' by Porsche prior to our arrival (aka all cars had at least 2000 miles).
I realize the wind noise is somewhat annoying on the video I shot...sorry. I suggest turning down the volume for that section of the video.
The car is unbeliveable and the production that Porsche put on was second to none! WOW!!!
