I had to replace the inner handle due to the spring failure and it comes with an upgraded pull cable so I had to fully dissemble the whole door to get the cable attached to the latch.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hi, Really struggling to attach the plastic holder/slider from the door latch to the door handle. Spent way too much time on this and I'm guessing I just don't have the dexterity or there is some better way to connect the two. I had to replace the inner handle due to the spring failure and it comes with an upgraded pull cable so I had to fully dissemble the whole door to get the cable attached to the latch. Anyone got a better way that to struggle with fingertips and mental pictures? Here is a small video of the parts in question:

POST 2Original post

You slide it in from the top, then rotate 90 degrees, then pull backwards to clip it in. First time is kinda a pain, but once you do it once, you'll remember it forever.

POST 3Original post

Are you saying connecting the black plastic to the handle bolt, then connect it to the latch? I tried that with no luck. Now I am trying to connect them both in place with two fingers
