Someone suggested to me that I try putting a K&N Air Filter in the 996 as it would improve performance. I see on EBay that I could get one for about £70. Has anyone used one of these and, if so, can you comment on whether or not it was worthwhile? Cheers Ellis

Hi Ellis, I have a K&N filter fitted to my 996 4S, if there is any performance increase (3 to 5 bhp was suggested) the increase is too small to notice under normal driving conditions. Regards,
