I've used Tewkesbury for parts, I wasn't super impressed with the experience, parts almost never answer the phone and I didn't particularly like the attitude of the staff in the showroom, who acted like because I wasn't there to spend 100k on a new car, they didn't want me cluttering up their showroom...guess I'll be talking to Bristol about the Taycan I'm thinking of ordering!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm currently struggling to get parts off my local OPC :damn: :frustrated:
I need a parts department with staff who have experience and Tewkesbury looks to be the next closest to me.
Does anyone have a name/contact of an experienced parts person there who knows their stuff ? As I'm getting really fed up with playing guessing games with staff at my current OPC who clearly haven't got a clue what the parts I require are :wtf: nor how to interpret their parts diagrams to establish which they are
Hi
I would suggest trying OPC Bristol.. Ask to speak to Richard or James.. Very good guys who have been in the game for years.. They always give me a discount and free DHL delivery.
Incidentally Tewkesbury is my nearest franchise.. Ive only used them once last year to code my retrofitted cruise control.. The charge was £75 which was much cheaper than I was quoted from a few Indies I called in Cheltenham and Redditch.. However they failed to get it working blaming installation.. Bristol coded it when it was serviced without issue.. So my confidence in using Tewkesbury again is zero
Regards
Johnny
Thanks Johnny, unfortunately I'm closer to Birmingham than Bristol, and Tewkesbury is the same distance from home as my current somewhat inept OPC. Bristol however would be a minimum 2 hour round trip ...
So anyone use the parts dept at Tewkesbury and have the name of an individual who's good ?
Its an hour each way for me too as Im just outside Worcester. But I only drive there for servicing.. For parts I call and they post anything I need. Ive had items such as door membranes and aircon pipes sent so they are happy to post anything saving any need to drive to collect

I'm still waiting on a call back from Tewkesbury from when I couldn't get through to the parts dept...on Tuesday. They did say that they would post parts out if they were small, which seems useful.

my closet OPC is Swindon, they are excellent, very professional and offer free postage on smaller items
