I did fastened a home made bracket for bank 2, but after seeing that it did not move, I just changed the tensioner on bank 1 without any tool.

To close this out, I did not need a tool just to change the tensioner. It did not move at all. I did fastened a home made bracket for bank 2, but after seeing that it did not move, I just changed the tensioner on bank 1 without any tool. The car is a 2007.
