Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Must admit, I swapped all my dials back to black as I couldn't stand seeing the cut out from cruise etc.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

There has been a development, I think I've fixed it, need to assemble it again, not to sure on the yellow dial, looks great in daylight, not so great with lights on at dark.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Tried to liven up the dash and ordered a yellow rev counter face , after changing, the rev counter is not working. Has anyone got any ideas or experienced something similar ?

POST 2Original post

Unfortunately not a great help to you now but when I was researching to do mine, I was told to be extra careful and gentle when removing the needles as it's very easy to cause damage.

POST 3Original post

Is none of it working? No lights, nothing? Take it apart and just double check you have actually hooked it all back up properly. Did you slide the connectors back inwards to lock them into place? (ignore circle, image grabbed from google). The green/white bit either side, one under the sticker on right in this pic....

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There has been a development, I think I've fixed it, need to assemble it again, not to sure on the yellow dial, looks great in daylight, not so great with lights on at dark. Anyway, looks like I've pulled the pin out of alignment taking the needle off, I've realigned it back, I can feel resistance on the pin now, it's not moving free, will report when it's all back together, but so far looking good

POST 5Original post

Must admit, I swapped all my dials back to black as I couldn't stand seeing the cut out from cruise etc. and it looses that lovely sharp contrast you get on them at night with the backlit against the black dials.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I must say I totally agree, I love the yellow rev counter in daylight, at night it losses its appeal. I suppose I don't drive the car much in winter. There is always the option of going back to black.
