Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

Clearly not....but it has worked in the very limited cases I have used it.

No unique explicit quoted action; no causal link assigned

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any Rennlist Member that has a need for a Torque wrench is welcome to mine. My wife bought me a nice fancy expensive set of Torque wrenches and will probably never use this one. Paid $30 for it but FREE to a loving home. It is a Craftsman Toqrue Wrench that has reading for both Newton and Pound. The drive is 1/2". Only 2 requirements: 1. Be a Rennlist Member 2. Pay for the nominal shipping charge of your choice

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And the Torque wrench goes to Peter! If you like I can just give it to you this weekend rather than ship it. I will be in McLean from the 13th-20th. Totally up to you. Just let me know.

POST 4Original post

Damn, too late. Let me know if you have any thing else that may just be laying around.

POST 5Original post

yes!!! first time i've won anything my entire life.. Sure, we can meet up this weekend.. just let me know when and where... peter

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My wife's student loans from med school. Want those?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Damn Kirb.....I'm surprised, you are usually quicker on the draw than me lately!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Didn't realize you were in Frisco till now. I have a buddy that I grew up with in San Antonio that lives in Frisco off of Lebanon and Hillcrest. Small world.

POST 11Original post

Not far from me at all. I work close to downtown Dallas, though. Long commute, 35 miles - approx. 45-60 minutes.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ouch! I remember it took me darn near an hour to get to his house once we passed downtown on 35. But it's a nice area with a lot of growth potential. Also, you have all the benfits of living near Plano.

POST 13Original post

Plus, IKEA and a new professional soccer stadium open Sat. Traffic is doing to suck for awhile though.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Holy cow Chris! At least my wife's are VERY small compared to that. She went the Air Force route. Only 10 months and counting till civilian life.....AND PAY!

POST 16Original post

Ouch, my wife's weren't quite that bad. And, she did let me buy a porsche once the loans were paid off

POST 17Original post

I've got one of those that I use as my breaker bar. Got a real 1/2" for clicking the right torque!!

POST 18Original post

Damn!!! I missed out again! Man, I hate when works gets in the way of getting free stuff! Dell, that two things this week you put together and left me standing out side looking in. Pretty soon I'm going to start getting a complexion er, I mean complex! See, Im aalalready st..ststarting to st..st..studder!

POST 19Original post

My wife's are VERY large! Wait, what are we talking about???

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry Tim.....I'll PM you next before I post Be right back, gotta run down to the garge to find something that I have duplicates of......... As for rdstemler's post.....worthless. Not only is that stupid to use a torque wrench as a breaker bar the comment about getting a real one is just uncalled for. Try to resist from lack on contribution posts next time.

POST 21Original post

I guess it's out of the question to ask you to post pics, huh?

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bad Tim......very bad. No go say 10 hail Mary's and 10 our Father's!

POST 23Original post

Dell, I am Lutheran, so no "Hail Mary's" or "Our Father's" for me. However, my wife is Catholic, so maybe she will say them for me! BTW, have you seen the avatar of one of the newbies, the pic with the rosary beads hanging from the rear view mirror? That is the funniest PhotoShop pic I think I have ever seen! In case you haven't seen it, here it is!

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That is hilarious! I remember seing that recently on one of the avatar's. Of course since I am Episcopal I can laugh at that

POST 26 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's it, I think the drinks are a flowin' tonight!

POST 27Original post

LVDell, To clarify.... I originally bought and used the non clicking torque wrench. As a novice, I thought it was OK. I was given, as a gift, the much better, and higher quality, clicking type wrench. It was clearly better and more accurate. Sounds kinda like the situation you were in. Have two of the same thing and the gift is much better. I kept the original because it has a long throw and can be used to leverage some items that my regular wrenchs are unable to move. Is it a quality, dedicated breaker bar?? Clearly not....but it has worked in the very limited cases I have used it. I no longer use it as my torque wrench, presumably as you no longer do since you are in receipt of your wife's fine gift. I was noting the difference, as you were! I was happy for the upgrade! So, I assume, are you! I apologize for my perceived insult. My remark was merely intended as a comment. My error was not explaining it more fully! Perhaps this will suffice.
