I did however notice that the nitrogen filled tires have more consistent tire pressure; the TPMS is all over the place until the Air filled tires are up to temperature.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Has anybody noticed an increase in road noise when they fill the tires up with nitrogen?

POST 2Original post

i got my tires (19", OEM Potenza's) fillled with nitrogen about 1,000 miles ago and i didnt notice any additional road noise.

POST 3Original post

I can't say that I noticed any difference between my OEM PS2 18" (Air) and my PS2 19" (Nitrogen) tires with regards to road noise. I did however notice that the nitrogen filled tires have more consistent tire pressure; the TPMS is all over the place until the Air filled tires are up to temperature.
