if you're handy DIY'er there may be a chance to replace the LEDs but haven't tried it before.

Hi everyone! Just noticed yesterday on my 2009 Cayman the passenger taillight is partially out. It’s the outer cluster and strip that runs along the bottom that is out. Is there a bulb back there or is it all led? I fear I have to replace the whole thing. Thank you

There doesn't seem to be any user replaceable bulbs on the 987.2 rear lights - just harness plugs. if you're handy DIY'er there may be a chance to replace the LEDs but haven't tried it before.

I am just going to take it out and inspect things. Maybe I will get lucky with a loose connection? Seems kind of premature that I would lose LED on a car with only 22k miles.
