Yep, inflate the tires to the proper pressures, reset the computer via the stalk, then drive approx 20 miles.

987 Boxster S . Got error message with the yellow air pressure symbol and a red exclamation point (!). Flick through the stalk menu to get to tire pressure. It shows -4 lbs for right rear. I put air in tire. But, error message does not disappear. How do I clear it?

I am not an expert, just sharing the same thing happened to me with my 2009 (base) Boxster . I aired up the tires, then used the 'stalk/menu' to do a reset and punch in what he air pressure was that I set the tires at.... it took a little while of driving (1/2 hour?) for the car to re-learn the air pressures. Yep, inflate the tires to the proper pressures, reset the computer via the stalk, then drive approx 20 miles. That’s what it takes for the computer to relearn what you’re wanting. Then it will notify you if there are deviations

In some cases, the batteries in tire pressure modules in the wheels go dead and need to be replaced. My warning indicator is always illuminated due to this issue. I'll replace the sensors when it's time for new tires ... maybe in 2021 (?) ... until then, I just manually check the pressure

It’s not an exact number of miles that you drive for the computer to relearn. Sometimes it feels like it’s taking forever but it will happen.
