Hello all, this is my first post here and cant believe I have not come accross the site before as it seems a great resource. I have an 996tt with K16's and want to upgrade my intercoolers. Has anyone here done this? The obvious choice would be X50/GT2 items. Is this easy to do? And is it an expensive upgrade? Cheers Lee

Replacing with K24 turbos is quite a popular upgrade for those craving more power. Probably best to have a chat with one of the bigger indies who have done these conversions. AMD/JZM/etc.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the replies. Sundeep, My car curently has the following mods Milltek 100cell cat sports exhaust, Sports air filter, GT3 ARB's, GT2 wheels, GT3RS lightweight flywheel and Clutch, Hyperboost Diverter valves, ECU tune and just recently a GT3 6 Pot brake upgrade. I plan to upgrade to Bilstein Pss9 soon and also upgrade the intercoolers and turbos. I got a price from Porsche today of £338 + vat per side for the GT2 intercoolers but he they couldnt tell me whether they are a bolt on replacement of if I would need other fixings etc. can anyone advise?
