This is not a probability of success.

The car only has 17,000 mi, so I don't absolutely need to change just yet.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

New to this forum. I've got an 08 2.7 Cayman that I wouldn't mind dropping an inch and perhaps just a touch firmer ride. I'm new to Porsche after a long time, but have had great success with my BMW 's just going to Koni Yellow Adjustable shocks, and the H&R sport springs, (1.1 inch drop on most BMWs). This has given the desired result without affecting day to day driveability. Never going to track or autocross the car. Anyone here done this combination with good result? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Konis have only come out in the last year or so for the 987 and I haven't seen much feedback on any of the usual forums yet. It's certainly a proven combo on other cars like you've experienced.

POST 4Original post

Kind of wondering the same thing, but mine ( 987.1 Box S) handles so great I have not pushed the idea much. I did H&R / Bilstein Sports and "DOT legal" tires on my e30 325is to great results. I have decided I would do sway bars before springs but I am starting to race ... did Laguna Seca 9/26 woooo. - cheers David
