Hi i just fitted with my today, all you have to do is remove the light bulb socket from your original DRL then unplug the light bulb from the socket, and then plug the new light connector to the old socket, then you done!

Hi everyone, new to the forum. I have a 2005 Boxster 987. I have recently bought the LED Fog lights to update the look. The website said they were a direct fit for the old lights however upon trying to install I have notice one of the connectors is different on each light. maybe I am doing something wrong so please help. There are two connectors, the main one fits no problem, its the smaller connector. The original light, where the connector attaches. it has two pins and the connector slots over the pins and locks securely. On the new light the connector has a long thin connect with two mental strips on either side ? so it wont fit in the original connctor because2 pins are ment to slot into it ? So am i doing something wrong ? is there something I am missing or is this not going to fit ? I am not impressed at the moment as the website (Design 911) said it was a direct fit with no modifications needed. Please Help !?

I bought these for my cayman as well. Im going to have to retro fit the boxster mounting bracket to my bumper though. Your going to need get a lightbulb adaptor or splice the wires to porsche plug.

can you show me which led fog did you buy? are they the one form jtec? i think you left the adaptor in your old fog, mine is plug and play.

this is what i did, the LED fog is plug and play, you just have to remove the old adapter, you just twist it sideways to remove it,

S24DRE, are you sure you have the Fog light and not the 'city' light? I would have expected something like an H11 bulb, not what looks like a T10 which is more of an interior bulb. Another site lists the H8 as the fog light for your car.

Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) LED for Porsche Boxster 987 2005-08 - 98763109087 | Design 911 these are the lights I bought and thank you for the advice you were correct. i had to twist and remove the bulb light holder, remove the old bulb and connect the cable as if it was a bulb and it all works perfectly now. Thanks very much for the help
