I understand that the factort sealant used on sump plate is Drei Bond 1209. Here on the Pelican site when searching for this sealant I see that Reinzosil is listed as well as Drei Bond 1209? Does this mean these are effectively the same product and interchangable? Will the Reinzosol work for sump plate installation? Thanks Joe

Thanks JFP. My confusion comes from the Pelican Parts website as linked below that shows the Reinzosil as Drei Bond 1209. Pelican Parts - European Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche • BMW • Mercedes • Volkswagen • Audi • Saab • Volvo • MINI I spoke to a local VW dealer and they indicated that this Reinzisol is what they use as Drei Bond 1209. Its just much more accessible for me up here in Canukastan.
