Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I just bought a steering wheel to replace the standard triangle on my 987.1 base w/5spd. I need to find a couple of parts for it...namely, a rear cover and the plate that screws into the base which houses the retention spring assy and the airbag. Problem is...I'm not 100% sure what wheel I've got. From what I've gathered, the part number for wheel is on the plate that I'm missing...is that the only place the part number is found? Here's what it looks like: Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Ok, I did find out this is a 991.2 wheel...most likely from a Macan /Cayenne/Panamera. Figured out the rear cover...that's cheap. All I'm missing is the part that screws inside at the bottom of the wheel...anyone know the part name?
