I have found a Capristo used exhaust that I have been after for years which has been fitted to a Cayman 981S and I wonder if this could be fitted to my 987 Gen 1 maybe with some mods?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have found a Capristo used exhaust that I have been after for years which has been fitted to a Cayman 981S and I wonder if this could be fitted to my 987 Gen 1 maybe with some mods? I already have the PSE switchable exhaust on the car. If it is totally out of the question then I will forget it but here's hoping? Many thanks.

POST 2Original post

I highly doubt this would work. 987 and 981 are quite different, there would likely be many ways this would not fit.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
