Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I know how we all hate oil debates but I just want to ask for some opinions. I will be changing my transmission oil next month, after some long research I have a problem deciding if I should use: Mobil Delvac 75W-90 Gear oil - Mobil Delvac 75W-90 (1 gallon) – Lufteknic or the factory: ORMD-TRANS OIL 1LTR - Porsche (999-917-546-00) It is for a 2003 Boxster S. Anyone using Delvac on the their Boxster S? Thanks

Stick with the Porsche transmission fluid. I know it's expensive, but it's only every 90k miles. People tend to poor shifting with non-OEM fluid. More info here: http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/30441-manual-transmission-fluid-best-brands.html
