Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Don't do it.I fitted a set of 19" rims to my 996 C4S and it was truly awful, felt like a shopping trolley to drive.I loved the look but the car's ride is tons better on 18's which is what the suspension was designed around.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will these fit straight onto my 996 convertable? with no hassel or spacers required https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25549380...22&osub=-1~1&crd=20220721073301&segname=11051 thanks

POST 2Original post

They should fit, and look rather nice. But do you actually want a set of winter tyres? Might be an idea to find a scruffy set and get them refurbished then get a fresh set of 19" tyres. Your existing ones are 18"

POST 5Original post

I found the opposite. Drives really well on 19's. Certainly no worse than 18's.
