I own a 2001 porsche 996 turbo. Just gone in for service and oil found in coolant. Not a great quantity but oil present. Can the 996 turbos suffer cracks in the block? Or in cylinders? I am aware of the heat exchangers causing this problem. So having that checked. Do cylinder heads go? The car runs great no issues. It did have a full engine rebuild prior to when I purchased it. I live in Dubai and temps are extreme here but I have had no coolant issues with engine over heating. Oil consumption has been nil. Any thoughts ideas suggestions welcome.

Hi mate, I own a similar model , a gt3 MK1 , with the same Metzger engine. The oil in coolant is not a good news , Check the oil/ water coolant exchanger , the issue can comes from it.
