Not trying to be funny but.... 1) drain coolant 2) remove belts 3) remove old water pump 4) install new water pump 5) replace belts 6) replace coolant 7) start car and bleed air from cooling system. Nice weekend project.

When I did my water pump last spring, I also put in the low temp thermostat and new rubber hoses that were "touching" the things I was taking out. I'd also change out the coolant tank - I wish I had - mine developed age/stress cracks just a few short months after I did the water pump - I would have avoided some double work.
