Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I was excited by the long-awaited warm weather here in Toronto, but was very surprised when I pressed the max a/c button and it shut down almost immediately. I am hoping that is it something as simple as a fuse, but I will have to wait until Monday when I visit the dealership. Has anyone experienced this before? Any idea what may have happened here? Thanks in advance for your help.

POST 2Original post

if you think its a fuse why dont you take a quick look

POST 3Original post

Is there a fuse diagram that you can direct me to? Thanks.

POST 4Original post

It is on your fuse box and in several languages. Take a look and let us know what you find.

POST 6Original post

jimmy I had a friend with a Boxster S that had the very same issue. His problem turned out to be a simple fuse as others have already commented. Is the A/C motor running and nothing coming out or did the system shut down completely? If completely, I would guess you blew a fuse? Good luck with the fix!

POST 9Original post

Thanks Silent Will. Everything shut right down; no fan, lights, or any action on the whole heating/ac section of the dash. I'm going to get the dealership to look at it tomorrow. If it's the fuse, I'd feel better getting them to replace it and ensure that there's nothing systemic to worry about. Much appreciated.

POST 10Original post

It was a fuse. I realized that I was missing the diagram on the back of the fuse panel.
