I don't know your budget , but if you plan to replace your coilovers for betters , you should think to Ohlins Road & track.

Recently my 996 standard suspension/ struts have become crappy, I've been told by my mechanic it needs to be changed. I want to upgrade to coilovers.
I have found a set of lightly used Cross JIC 996 2004 turbo coilovers. I am wondering will these physically fit on my:
996 2002 C2
-What is the difference between all these coilovers besides the weight springs?
-Would they physically fit my car?
-If i were to put turbo coilovers on a C2 would it be too hard of a ride.

I am almost certain turbo struts will not fit. The turbos are AWD and this complicates the suspension swap. I'm not 100% for the 2002 996 but the first run of 3.4 996's would not swap without a LOT of other parts. Ultimately costs more than a PSS9 set up.
An alternative is a new set of bilstein sports and lowering springs. Coil overs are nice if you're doing a lot of DE's. If you want a better suspension, a mild upgrade is the sports. It'll give you about a 1.2" lowering as well.

Hmm that's interesting.... Is it the diameter of the coilovers or the sleeve for the struts different?
Would anyone have measurements that i could compare?
Not sure what the difference is. The TT and the C4 are wide body cars, so there may be some dimension differences there as well as the AWD. You might want to check with a shop like EBS in Reno for a better answer. Could also try Rennlist and search around there.

Adjustables , 30 clics , very light , and not expensive viewing the result .
With mines , i've just discovered another car , nothing less.
That cost 1700 euros , without cost of shipping .
