Hi guys. My windshield wipers have stopped working after a prolonged period of the car being laid up. I had a tech look into it and he said the rain sensor controller module was the issue as it's receiving power but nothing coming out. So, I replaced the controller module and the wipers still don't work! Moving on, I just checked the wiper motor. It's receiving 12v from the connector going into it. So, I assume I have a dead wiper motor!? Thoughts appreciated! Thanks

Do they work on high speed. Mine stopped working on low but worked on high as they're different brushes.

You can open the motor up and clean both sets of brushes. Also check the connector pins on the socket are all nice and clean. The motor just comes apart by undoing 2 small bolts. Done disassemble the worm mechanism on the top of it though.

Thanks. Took it out and tested it with 12v. Not working so I've ordered a Bosch replacement
