Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

This note should answer your questions: Cruise Control Connector: 996 Carrera 2003-2005 Cruise Control Connector Pin #1 Plug C on the Gauge Cluster (Grey) - pin #17 Cruise Control Connector Pin #2 Fuse B7 (black) Cruise Control Connector Pin #3 Plug C on the Gauge Cluster (Grey) - pin #4 Cruise Control Connector Pin #4 Plug C on the Gauge Cluster (Grey) - pin #1 For all 996 Carreras, 2000-2005 (and 1999 C4) cars, once you have all of the wiring done, you will need to have the dealer activate the cruise control function using the PST-2 or PIWIS programming unit. The section for programming this in the tool is located in the DME module, under the Coding section. You also need to activate the instrument cluster for cruise control as well. This is found in the "Instrument Cluster" coding section within the Porsche programming tool. Make sure your car has the "order code" properly set; otherwise you may have trouble properly programming the instrument cluster. - Nick
