Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I saw this morning at an indie a 996 tt (2001) that looks good. The services book is stamped as it should be but a lot of invoices were missing (so I could not check for example that the clutch had been changed etc). I plan to buy subject to an OPC 111 points check and OPC warranty. Is it an issue that the invoices have been lost and does the fact that the sale will be subject to an 111 points check help ? Many thanks

POST 2Original post

I think the 111 Point Check gives you the confidence you need, that the status of the car is clear interms of its condition when you buy it. :driving: If some invoices are missing I think that is probably a minor issue. If you are also getting an Extended Porsche Warranty as well as part of the deal, I think you are covered. Sleep confortably on this one :thumb: Regards Big Bob :bye:

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Big Bob - This is also my view but it is good to know that people also agree.

POST 4Original post

A Porsche warranty can be useful, but it won't help you if your clutch needs replacing. No invoice for a clutch replacement = no assurance that the clutch was replaced.

POST 5Original post

But if the 111 Point Check is done correctly, it will at least qualify that the clutch still is usesable. Regards Big Bob
