Running a box standard 996tt at the moment with a strong well serviced engine. Looking at squeezing more power out of the unit. 414bhp we are starting of with. We are looking at relacing the following parts Diverter Valve WasteGate (Either upgrade the springs or the complete units) Headers Exhaust System Live ECU map that we will be doing ourselves Anyone have any dealings with upgrading the above parts and can recommend what parts work best? How much more power? K24s are a popular upgrade for TTs if looking to tune. The standard K16s run out of puff at the top end.

We would hope to develop this with minimum change to get around 500bhp give or take. Looking at changing the Exhaust System and Diverter Valves also maybe upgrade the wastegates and get it live mapped so see what we can get out of it pretty much standard. Then I'm sure we will go down the route of changing the turbos and doing some engine work at a later date. Although I'll be using this vehicle on a daily basis it is going to be our demo vehicle. Westys The DMS exhaust system added 33BHP to my x50, taking it from 450 to 483. Not sure what the effect will be on the normal engine. I think DMS quote about 520BHP from their map and exhaust system for the non S or x50 cars, 550BHP with the larger turbos and second cooler etc. Hope you enjoy the car, 32k is a bragain!! If mine had only been that much then I would have been keeping her!
