Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Greetings.... The sun is out (in case no one had noticed ) are we going to have a meeting in the Midlands this year?

POST 2Original post

I have tried this many times, it does not seem to happen :-( Even a joint R / Spyder meet would be good. Shame as the evo boys and loads of other makes can get 20 cars no problem. Porsche owners must be cleaning them or something. I am taking it to Wilton on the 10th if any others are going. And might be at Donnington on the 1st in the evening if people want a mini meet and a venue to visit.

POST 4Original post

Why not extend to invitation to include all Caymans? I love the older cars as much as the new models and would enjoy meeting other owners and discussing all things Cayman..

POST 7Original post

I will try and join in - sounds good (as long as it hasnt sold by then!)

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok. On the assumption you can't please all of the people all off the time, I'm just going to say that I'll be at Chatsworth House (DE45 1PN) on the morning of Saturday 16th August. It would be lovely to see a few other Porsche owners there. For info: http://www.chatsworth.org/

POST 9Original post

Good effort. Sometimes you have to dictate where and when and say take it or leave it. I'd love to come and I'm free, but it's too far north I'm afraid. When you say "midlands" I think "Birmingham"!

POST 10Original post

I am on Holiday 16th why not go to Wilton house on the 10th :-) I am sure many owners will be there already.

POST 12Original post

Sorry - am away 10th & 16th... thats always gonna happen - as you say, can't please all the people all the time. Hopefully I will be around for the next one..... Enjoy - hope the sun shines!

POST 14Original post

I shall be at Wilton in the PH car park. Having breakfast in the cafe on Silver Street at 8am.

POST 15Original post

As I've said before, I'd be up for a meet. However I'm also away on the 10th and 16th. Would've popped over to Donington tonight but I'm in a courtesy Boxster for the weekend..... From the beginning of September Sundays are a no go for me as the rugby season starts, so can only do Saturdays.

POST 16Original post

Donington would be a good central venue to meet. Just planning ahead...

POST 17Original post

Donnington would suit me nicely, I can do any date between now and the end of September

POST 18Original post

I would be up for a meet sometime, but there would need to be lots of advanced notice and perhaps something more than a meet and a cuppa. Sat/Sun seeking out driving roads in wales perhaps. How open to ideas are PEC Silverstone I wonder? A day set up exclusively for 987 Spyders/R's. Meet up, drive the course, food. I'd be coming from Jersey, so doing something would be expensive and time consuming. Bit of a pain, if I was in the UK I'd be up for meets within 2-3hr travel time. If there were other like minded owners who wanted a blat around Normandy/Loire/Brittany, that would be even better.
