Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just removed the hard top and raised the soft top only to find that the screen has a small (3") split. I assume this is because of the cold! Any repairers in the Kent area that can be recomended. Also, is it possible to replace the plastic screen with glass?

POST 2Original post

BAS International and GAHH do replacement tops for the pre-facelift with a glass window, but it is a complete top. The glass has to be made smaller than the plastic screen so that the roof folds properly. You can't fit a top from a facelift car, as the mechanism is different. For repairs, take a trawl through this thread: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=245268 Edit: BAS, not BAZ.
