if the mods were quite straightforward (and I can't imagine they changed alot for the 04my), it would be worth considering for all 3.6 cars.

According to the service schedule for my 996TT servicing should be done every 2 years, but I've just received a reminder from the OPC who did the last service that another one is due just 1 year later. They are also suggesting an air conditioning service at either £50 (for a clean) or £200 (refrigerant change). Views?

Hmm, I think its every 12k miles or 1 year the service, whichever comes first. As for the aircon service, do it at an indy for more than 50% cheaper.

For the 996 NA it's every 2 years for cars manufactured after 2003, well that's what the service guy at OPC west London told me today. Not 100% if that works for the Turbo or GT engine...

The later 996s (04my on) were 2 yrs or 12k miles. Dunno if that applied to TTs. The £50 clean for the aircon seemed good value- but I'm sure they'll tell you something else needs doing!

All cars MY2004 onwards are 2 years 12k miles servicing, my GT3 has a 2yr service interval.
