Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Run enough boost' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run enough boost' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ok, so this post was firmly tongue in cheek, but check out this bad boy....!

(only spotted after looking to see what other cars redline racing sold!)
Cheers,
GD
PS This is no way intended to be a dig at other posters or redline...just a bit surprised there's a market for these sort of cars.
Looks fine to me - genuine. You can't compare a 996tt to one though.... there is NO comarison. You'd only have to drive both to understand....
Bit of a price difference though so not a fair comparison.
Now Escort Cossie I love
But don't think I'd own one...
i think i could own one, they have ditched their chavvy image, and i'd say are respected cars...
probably all bent or running enough boost to send them to hell though.
if i could find an low milage original white one, i think i'd have it.
great cars just shame about the image
reminds of going to see the touring cars in the 80's - listerine me thinks
My mates dad had one and it was a real supercar slayer in it's day
dont let the owners put you off what was a great car with one of the best names in race engine building
Always fancied buying one but my wife would kill me
you'll be surprised how much old Sporting/Performance Fordies go for
mint RS Turbo S1's go easily for £6k+
likewise mint original 3dr Sierra Cosworths are fast approaching their original list price £16k and 92 vintage Escort Cosworths are much and such the same price as same age 964's..........
From the outside it looks very genuine and original (except for the large exhaust tailpipe), and I should know as I spent 30 years working on Sierra/Escort Cosworths etc at Ford! See
www.johnrbull.com
.
However, even I would agree that you just cannot compare it with a 996 TT or even a 996 C4S (which is what I have). In most attributes the Porsche is a 'better' car but you are not comparing apples to apples
The Cossie is now around 22 years old, and also is about 1/5th the price of a 996 TT! Still provided it hasn't been chipped too much etc. and is genuine, it's good value at around £10,000.
I'm surprised that anyone is trying to compare this 18 year old Ford to a Porsche TT.
In its day the original Ford Sierra Cosworth was a spectacular car at a very reasonable price. I would not want one now either. However for a collector this might be a good one to look at.
