Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am thinking of replacing my soon-to-split cans with one of the ebay exhausts (Oettle or Sommerfeld). Call me a ninny, but I dont want the full volume of the PSE, but I do want something better than the stock noise. I emailed both Oettle and Sommerfeld to ask if they have anything quieter than the 105dB stuff they sell. Somerfeld has a 102dB version. My question is: anyone know how loud the standard exhaust is? Thanks for any help, Josh
