I replaced the water hose to AOS, I bit the bullet and bought the mouse ears crimping tool for the crimped hose clamps in that spot over the screw type because there is so little clearance between the clamp and serpentine belt.

I had my water pump replaced a few weeks ago. They mentioned that the AOS coolant hose was cracked at the end where it goes into that coupler. They cut the end as a temporary fix but after a long road trip it's leaking. My Tip Cab requires engine out to replace the hose, so I'll wait for something else before I do that. I want to get another hose and use a coupler to extend it. What size hose and coupler do I need? BTW - it's not the fixture that's leaking as I replaced it with the Spiegel version.a few years ago.

For anyone making this change, don't use cheap radiator worm gear clamps. They cut into the hose which will eventually leak. I had the job done when my car was in for something else. I'm surprised they didn't use a proper clamp. I went to my local Porsche dealer and they gave me (yes free) 3 clamps. After trimming the hose, I needed to lengthen it. I bought a 5/16" (7.9mm) inner diameter fuel line hose from Autozone and a 3/8" (9.5mm) brass coupler from Home Depot. That's why I needed 3 clamps.
