Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

He has worked on all of the cars I've owned for the last 15 years and done flawless work and his recommendations all proved to be rock solid.
Leading evidence: 'rock solid' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'rock solid' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Install yesterday at my tire shop' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I attempted to have the sensors installed yesterday at my tire shop.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

For reasons known only to the Universe I always catch a nail in my right rear tire within 200 miles of purchase. This started in 1999 and continues to this day. The car/truck make model does not matter. TPMS has saved the day several times, although in one instance the nail destroyed the tire.
My plan is to install an ATOTO unit with Estink TPMS. I like that this is a conventional TPMS, rather than the valve cap type. Certainly the company name is questionable, but it seems to have decent reviews for the price point. I have had to pay more for one sensor than this entire solution costs

The ATOTO works with the TPMS system, gives me support for a backup camera I already have connected to a semi ancient Pioneer DVD unit. This unit will give me wireless CarPlay connectivity. I've never heard of ATOTO - is it legit? Is Estink a legit TPMS system? This all seems almost too good to be true.
There is a guy on YT, think his name is Matt Ross. Has a turbo that he put that head unit in. Search him or the brand and you will see the vid. I think they are all made by the same company, than different names put on them. All the brands look the same. Put a different one in mine last month and so far so good. Not great, but for $200+ I can deal with it
I myself am also looking into TPMS solutions and the last thing I'd want is added headache with an unreliable system. The only option that makes sense that I found so far is the
Schrader Retrofit
. I believe they invented the technology and are the main supplier to most major car manufacturers so I can't see anything being more reliable. At $110 I find it very reasonably priced. I'm planning on installing these when I get my wheels refurbished later this summer. I'll post about my experience on Rennlist and Reddit once done.
I looked at them and really like the Schrader TPMS units., but I want the display to be integrated into the same display that does CarPlay. This is what ATOTO/Estink provide. (Someone isn't thinking to name their company Estink, or is it just me?)
I attempted to have the sensors installed yesterday at my tire shop. The TPMS stems are the standard diameter but the valve stems in my wheels are the old valve stems diameter. I'm going to have to have do one of the following: unmount the tires and bore out the stem hole in the rim, or buy new rims.
When I first bought the car I was thinking about new rims, but these rims have grown on me.
I showed up to have my audio systems guy install the ATOTO. He has worked on all of the cars I've owned for the last 15 years and done flawless work and his recommendations all proved to be rock solid. He is super busy and I couldn't link up to discuss before I purchased the ATOTO/Estink.
He said he'd installed that exact model of ATOTO and had zero confidence about what would happen. It might work, it might be dead, it might work for a week then die. Totally flaky equipment in his experience. I'm sending it all back.
I agree with Coussa;20024203 about Schrader quality and they are the main supplier to the industry. I dug into Schrader's offerings, and found the AirCheck BLE, so I called to ask when this will be released - next month. The TPMS valves will interface to CarPlay or Android equivalent, just like I was seeking to do with the ATOTO. Or, you can just have it integrate with the app on your phone. This is the holy grail in my book. This will avoid having the solar powered display in the current retrofit solution.

This looks awesome and definetly an even more convenient solution than having the external monitor. I'm glad I waited and didn't get the oriiginal retrofit yet. Thank you for sharing this
