Hi Anyone got any experience is this possible. I have done alcantara armrest and looks good. I also have some for handbrake but only want to cover the top section not the metal. Any ideas if this come apart and how?

I read somewhere that the leather handle is just glued on and can be removed by twisting it and pulling it off. I am in the same boat - the leather on my brake handle is in bad shape and I'd like to replace it.

Also check YouTube, even though I frequently see people butchering things there, I sometimes gain knowledge seeing past their butchering. Yours does not look that bad, you might consider hitting it with some Lexol and calling it a day. When contemplating unnecessary repairs it’s always best to consider risk / reward because it’s easy to get off into the weeds on such an endeavor.
