Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Aloha All, I just ordered my Cayman S and this is my first P car in 25 years. I have had BMW 's all the way along. I was told that I have a December Build date and a February delivery here to Hawaii, can't wait! I got the Cobalt Blue (Opt) wih sand beige interior. The only other options I took were, Bose surround sound, and 19' Carrera wheels. ANy thoughts are welcomed! Russ

POST 2Original post

A Cobalt Blue Cayman in Hawaii? Life is Good. But you might want to consider ordering a 2nd Cayman and have it garaged in California in case you tire of driving on the same roads. Congratulations!

POST 3Original post

Mpollard, If I could afford another I would love to have the Basalt Black, but I am still trying to figure out how to tell the wife about this one!! Aloha Russ

POST 5Original post

Thanks for the congrats! I would love to know if anyone else has placed and order and the details. I was not aware that there was a Novemeber Build, my dealer told me the first ones being was in December? Aloha Russ

POST 6Original post

Welcome aboard, Russ. There is a separate thread where many of us have listed our order details. I think the sand beige interior is lovely, and put it in my order, too. Start thinking about hosting an annual meeting of the Cayman Club at your house, will you?

POST 7Original post

On average Porsche has allocated each US dealer 2 November, 2 December and 2 January builds. Some dealerships may have received more or less than this depending upon their location and sales numbers.

POST 8Original post

November builds do exist, and they will most likely be delivered to dealers in early January. On order: Cayman S : Slate grey/Natural Brown Int. $74K Cayman S : Cobalt Blue/Natural Brown Int. $77K Cayman S : Black /Black. $69K Cayman S : Guards Red/Black. $69K

POST 9Original post

Thank you for the info! It is great to talk to some fellow enthusiast. I will check the thread where you have posted some orders. I want to make sure I am not leaving something out that I really should have on the vehicle. I am sure I could add to my order if I wanted with a December Build date. Aloha Russ
