I read on Renntech that you can replace the lock barrel only but it didn't say if it was to fix my problem.

When I turn off the engine, the ignition key is becoming more difficult to remove unless I wiggle the key a little. I take it I'm in danger of the key becomng stuck in the ignition lock. Any way I can replace the lock without replacing the whole assembly? I read on Renntech that you can replace the lock barrel only but it didn't say if it was to fix my problem.

you can replace just the barrel and you will get 2 new blades with it unless you pay that bit extra for it to be made to chassis number. but only do this if you can be sure the locks have never been changed.. changed a boxster one the other week cost about £130 for the part... to change it is pretty straight forward
