Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've changed the MAF but that didn't help, in fact now I sometimes see a "hot film MAF sensor" error - which wasn't there with the old MAF (from 2004...) .

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A few months ago I bought a high mileage (180,000 KM) 2001 TT. In general, it's in good condition, but at low revs (just starting or in traffic) it can splutter and sometimes cut out. Looking through the invoices, nothing has really been done to the engine beyond oil and filters. The spark plugs and coils were done 7 years ago. I've changed the MAF but that didn't help, in fact now I sometimes see a "hot film MAF sensor" error - which wasn't there with the old MAF (from 2004...) . The other errors are P0410 & P1411 (Secondary-air system, bank 1 & 2) Sadly I don't have a knowledgeable Indie anywhere close by, only a super expensive OPC. So before biting the bullet and taking it into the OPC, I thought I should change the easy stuff, my current parts list is : Coil packs Spark plugs Diverter Valves Variocam Solenoid Valve brackets (which are apparently prone to cracking and allowing the solenoid to move a bit) O2 Sensors Is there anything else that I should be doing while I'm in there? Thanks!
