Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Seem to work great and I wasn't very impressed with the 964 rs mounts I fitted previously.
Leading evidence: 'Install previously' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install previously' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. I bought and fitted these, they seem externally identical to the OE mounts.

Suggestion
You should also order two nuts for the bots that are access under the car, mine were seized and I had to use a breaker bar, when the they did come off they the bolt and nut came out together, this is very common apparently.
Use oe porsche ones as they've found aftermarket ones

They said they only use OE Porsche ones as they've found aftermarket ones to be poor quality.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My 4S is at the Indy today having the aircon pipes replaced, and I asked about engine mounts.
They said they only use OE Porsche ones as they've found aftermarket ones to be poor quality. Which is all very well except they are £500+ each vs £150
I've not heard of anyone else saying this... are there any preferred brands or suppliers of aftermarket to use? Keen to stay original spec rather than RS spec or semi-solid.
I did the engine mounts on my C4S last year. I got mine from RockAuto in the US. I did a lot of research into these and from what I found out these are manufactured in Germany by the same company that supply Porsche but without the branding. Delivery was super quick and the price includes UK taxes.

Take a look. They transformed my car!

I bought two of these for my 997.1 C2S (uses same mounts) a month or so ago and they were £141 +vat each via my local OPC so much less than the £500+ each you mentioned.
Design911 seems to be more expensive than they were (there weren't far off the OPC price when I ordered).
They come with the main nuts and washers (M12) for the engine mount 'stud'. I bought some M8 x40 high tensile SS bolts for the engine mount to chassis fixings as I didn't want to steel ones back in (Westfield Fasteners are a good supplier of SS fixings). Coated all threads with anti seize paste and all good to go. Mark
They look like the ones i have on my 997.
Compared to standard they have a bit more vibration.
I will be interested to hear what you think once fitted.

They're trivial to fit but I reckon they'll last pretty well.
I did mine two weeks ago, I bought 993 engine mounts from Design911, I paid £230 with 10% PCGB discount.
You should also order two nuts for the bots that are access under the car, mine were seized and I had to use a breaker bar, when the they did come off they the bolt and nut came out together, this is very common apparently.
Good lucck
Thanks everyone! Links and info really helpful. I'll have a think on the various options...
Looks like I can have a go myself... I'll post up how I get on.
