It's running but tapping away, had a quick poke with the bore scope and couldn't see much but still that's the most likely fault, tends to smoke from the passenger tailpipe which suggests it's the usual right hand bank bore score issue.

As the title really, just wondering what people think I should ask for the M96 that I'm removing from my 996 project is worth. It's running but tapping away, had a quick poke with the bore scope and couldn't see much but still that's the most likely fault, tends to smoke from the passenger tailpipe which suggests it's the usual right hand bank bore score issue. The buyer can have pretty much as much of it as they like, tip gearbox, ECU, wiring etc. I'll hang on to the exhaust and cats though. Starting to need to fund parts for my MA101 swap........ 😂

Well, there is another on here being sold at the mo for £3k, I think with bore damage. They are certainly in demand, from people whos engines and cranks have been damaged beyond economic repair.

Yes it is mine. No6 is cracked so a Hartech 3 cylinder replacement is required to be on the safe side.

Well I'd be happy with 3k, for that they can have all the ancillaries and the gearbox too. Gets me some of the way towards an ECU for my project.
