Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 996 is currently being serviced and they having been trying to find fix an air con problem but have discovered that left radiator is leaking. They say it is due to leave corrosion and it will need replacing. Are the radiators covered in the warranty?

POST 2Original post

depends on what sort of a day the opc is having.......[8|] you will find some get it and some don't , argue the leaf build up is a design fault

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for reply guys. It always seems that they have to balance the cost of any other warranty work but regardless of consistency. I will argue my case later today!! [ ]

POST 4Original post

I got my car back yesterday and one of the radiators has been replaced under warranty and I didn't even know it was leaking [&:]

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They are still arguing they don't cover corrosion and the car is eight years old. [ ]

POST 6Original post

Mine is 8 years old next week. PM me for what OPC told me.

POST 7Original post

Both Mine were done under warranty and my car was 8+ years old they didn't even tell me until i went to collect it that they had been done. They should pay for it. Phil

POST 8Original post

I've had both water AND air-con radiators replaced under warranty (on separate occassions). Mine is 8 years old as well and I ddn't know they were leaking either!

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

[ ]The problem is that the warranty policy doesn't mention if the radiators are covered or excluded. It doesn’t mention corrosion either but I suppose they cover themselves by ‘wear and tear’.

POST 10Original post

Hi, Had both my rads done under warranty no problems. Alan

POST 11Original post

If I was you I would go to another OPC they are not exactly busy at the moment.

POST 12Original post

and will be even less busy in the future, eyh, vron!

POST 13Original post

mine done on previous 996 under warranty no questions asked. Newcastle OPC

POST 14Original post

Clean the area out yourself and go to a different OPC.
