Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Alternatively, take one out for a test drive from a dealer, and do a jedi mind trick on the salesman while you half-inch the disc  :cop: :judge:

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi, new member here. just got first porsche - an 04 996 C4S! However previous owner lost/sold sat nav disks and i'm on the search for replacement. any ideas?? Local OPC wants £350 and got eye on ebay but nowt there. presume its PCM2 system and 997 disks won't work? any help appreciated!

POST 2Original post

:welcome: You can now buy (I read elsewhere) 2008 updated discs for the PCM 2 but again they are £350 from the OPC. You're right in that you can't use 997 discs as that is DVD based

POST 3Original post

You might get lucky on fleabay. I don't think anyones yet cracked the code on the disc like they did with pcm1 so OPC is the only (sadly expensive) alternative. Alternatively, take one out for a test drive from a dealer, and do a jedi mind trick on the salesman while you half-inch the disc  :cop: :judge:
