Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Tried it again tonight and it worked fine both down and up.
I have a problem with both of my keys, when using to open/close the Cabrio roof remotely, sometimes, not every time, the roof just stops moving!
I have no problem with opening/closing the roof via the dashboard switch.
I have replaced the key batteries, but it makes no difference.
Has anybody get any idea what's wrong?
I had exactly the same problem. Took it to the dealer (under warranty) and they could not find anything wrong but reset both keys and has worked fine ever since.......and that was about 18 months ago....
Yes! My key has three buttons i.e. central locking, front boot, rear engine cover.
I press the correct button, but as I said " sometimes, not every time, the roof just stops moving! "
Sorry John, that question was for Eddie and not you - obviously you have the correct button as you've got thr oof half way down....hopefully a simple reset by the OPC should sort you out like it did me.
The third button on mine (admittedly an '04 model) is not rear engine cover, it actually shows the cab roof...................
Stupid B.....d of the day award goes to............ME!!
Third button does do the hood - although it stopped just before the metal cover went back in place - sounds like I might have the same problem!!
Oops
And how long have you had the car now Eddie :?:
At least you now know it has the function  Just need to get it reset 8)
It is cool sometimes to do it from a distance as people wonder how the car is doing it
Only had it just under two months so not too long!! Still feel stupid though!!!!
Tried it again tonight and it worked fine both down and up. I suspect I better stop playing with it now or I might end up with a duff battery!
