Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning everyone, Whilst driving along yesterday, in the pouring rain all DAY, I noticed that when turned my lights from side to dipped that my offside dipped wasnt working I have never changed a bulb in it before and i am guessing that there is 2 bulbs, one which does side and full beam and the other which does dipped, is this correct? Also, which bulbs are the best to get? I hate Halfords, but are these just as good? Also there seems to be some XENON bulbs H7 100W power ones on ebay? Thanks

POST 2Original post

You are correct about 2 bulbs per side. Changing the bulbs in the front is relatively easy. Just follow the instructions. The hardest part is sliding the whole unit back into the body, but this is easy if you look for 2 dowels poking out the side of the unit and the matching 2 sliders that they fit into. Others on here have advised against getting uprated bulbs, as the system isnt designed for them. Try Design911 for standard bulbs, and they also sell some slightly more powerful ones (not super strong 100w, but stronger than standard)

POST 3Original post

Also have a look at, http://www.hids4u.co.uk/store/home.php and http://www.aceparts.com/ both are great for bulbs and other components.
