Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I can see spending the thousands of dollars on a custom made set because it's a one or two set sort of thing but when it comes to a model of wheel that is made in the hundreds/thousands...

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I think that forged wheel prices have gotten out of hand. Does anyone know where one can buy a good forged 19" set of rims for a porsche without having to sell your children?? I love the champions RG19 and am getting crazy prices and also getting crazy price fluctuations meaning that some companies are just gouging the consumer.
Thanks.
Or is it that we've always been getting ripped off on cast wheels, but they were just cheaper? According to Champion, there is over 30 hours of machining involved for each wheel. The price fluctuations I've seen are "introductory" pricing when introducing new lines/models. Check fleaBay for Champion wheels.
I think wheels are typically overpriced to begin with. Especially when they are mass produced.
I can see spending the thousands of dollars on a custom made set because it's a one or two set sort of thing but when it comes to a model of wheel that is made in the hundreds/thousands... it's a crime to charge what some people charge.
Put the word 'porsche' in the description and triple the price. I can remember buying high end centerline racing wheels for a pure racing application and paying around a hundred a wheel(back in the day). This is pure gouging porsche owners plain and simple. How come an airbox kit, KN/cone etc for a pontiac is only 69$, yet a smaller peice of plastic/aluminum KN cone setup is 600$ for a porsche. If you're gonna buy parts for a porsche, do yourself a favor and get a tube of KY in addition.
