Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I searched on AT for 992 GT3RS with less than 500 miles on the clock ... and found 2 with OPC's and 6 with specialist dealers ? So what is supporting the overs prices ?? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-search?advertisin...

POST 2Original post

Commands the price because it hasnt been superseded yet and there isnt a better/more overall superior car in its class. It won ECOTY 2023 and just won ETCOTY 2024. Therefore this is the price entry if you want the best. Edited by TDT on Saturday 7th December 18:43

I think this is the next one to fall ... I'll bet there are a lot more cars out there than any owners expected and Porsche have therefore been selling pre-reg into the trade ?? How else can one explain the mileages ? https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/search/911?con... Edited by ChrisW. on Saturday 7th December 20:01

ChrisW. said: Snowy999 said: Theyre all off road having their CLs fixed….. ... and advertised for sale ! Not all. There are at least 10 992 Tourings which disappeared from the OPC finder, on a single day, a couple of weeks ago. The same day, 4RS's, 992 GTS's and SRS's also disappeared. Some of them have started to appear agin, but only a few so far.

BMW and their dealers have a swathe of ix3's which were withdrawn from sale until their brake system recall is complete, local dealership had 10 of them on the forecourt - all with pricing details removed to the footwells and withdrawn from all advertising.

My OPC , has shortage of stock , only GT cars around for sale

POST 11Original post

Such doom mongers and conspiracy theories. I was at Porsche Silverstone second week of November and personally witnessed the handover of two GT3 Touring's one MY23 in Arctic Grey and one MY24 in GT Silver. I had to go back a week later and they had also then sold a pts Touring. That's three that sold from just one OPC.

POST 12Original post

My 991.2 GT3, it sold in less than a week at my OPC, beautiful example it was

POST 13Original post

Interesting. There are currently 23 992 RSs advertised on AT, of which 8 are from OPCs. On Porsche Approved/Used there are 12 listed. Seems quite a few considering we're still out of 'buying season' and for a car that EVO crowned ECOTY and TDCOTY last year. And let's not forget, at around the £300k asking prices when you take off the 15% dealer margin the owners are only getting back roughly what they paid - around £250k when spec'd with the 'right' options, so the flippers aren't making anything. PTS doesn't seem to command any premium on asking prices either.

This is what I could find on the 992.2 GT3RS ... for spring 2026 ?? https://www.evo.co.uk/porsche/911-gt3-rs/207050/th... Hence I guess that the gen.1 will be manufactured for the whole of this year ?

Hence I guess that the gen.1 will be manufactured for the whole of this year ? The only thing that would slightly surprise me is if they offered the manual gearbox out of the S/T as an option - stranger things have happened, like offering rear seats in the new GT3. It's not as if they can do much with the engine (apart from the two extra cats) or maybe they'll also offer rear seats in the RS so you can take the kids round the track. Either way I think more aerodynamic oval dampers made from carbon are a distinct possibility...

The 992.1 GT3RS is still being delivered new ... I spoke to a chap with his new car today ... 'took delivery just before Christmas. (His second ... the first was to the wrong spec ?)

Well here are some interesting numbers from the DVLA to and including Q2 2024: The total number shown to the end of years 2021 and 2022 (541) is the the total number of 991 GT3RS for the years 2015/16 and 2018/19/20 (there were 3 991.2 GT3RS's as the end of the run registered in 2020). Looking at 992.1 GT3RS, there were 162 in 2023 and 95 in the first half of 2024, with the second half to be added. Hence the total of 541 x 991 gen cars over four years of production has had another 257 992.1 cars added in 18 months .... plus another 80 or more ? Given their limited application, I think that's a lot ... ??

For a car with zero storage that doesn't come fully alive till well past the national speed limit, there must be a good few at every track day right?
