Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning all, does anybody know of a rolling road in the north of England or Scotland where i can get my 996 tt dynoed? I am told only some rolling roads can do 4wd porkers? cheers RG

POST 2Original post

Yes, some only do 2 wheel drive. I have just come across Advanced Auto Developments in Doncaster. Around £50-£60 for a single car. Probably a bit far from Edinburgh Steve

POST 3Original post

The only one I know in the North is at Ninemeister in Warrington - again, quite a hike from Edinburgh. If the dyno is a 2 WD one, all they do for the turbo is disconnect the prop shaft going to the front diff. Most dynos are OK with normal 4WD cars but the Porsche Turbo delivers the power with too much of a thump.
